Cookies and tracking

No cookies, no tracking

The site sets no cookies, has no tracking, no analytics, no advertising and no service worker. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, not from other services, so just visiting a page sends nothing to anyone else.

In your browser

What is stored in your browser

Two small values, only for features you use yourself. They stay on your device and are never sent to the server. You can remove them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Videos

YouTube videos

The trailer on the Lab page and the video in the gallery are YouTube videos. Until you press play they are only a picture from this site with a play button, and nothing is loaded from YouTube.

When you press play, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, which is run by Google. From then on YouTube and Google receive your IP address and information about your browser, and may store data in your browser, for example in local storage, IndexedDB or the cache, under Google's privacy policy. If you do not want that, do not press play.

Server

Server logs

Like most web servers, the server keeps an access log of requests: for example the time, the page or file, your IP address, your browser's user agent and the response. It is used only to run the site and keep it secure, for example to find errors and stop abuse, which is a legitimate interest under the GDPR (Article 6(1)(f)). The logs are kept for at most 90 days and then deleted. They are not shared and not used for statistics.

Your rights

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask which personal data about you is processed (access), have it corrected or erased, and object to or restrict the processing. The site does not know who you are, so an entry in the access log can usually only be found if you give the time of your visit and your IP address.

You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
