The Mirror Number · Reality Weaver Zine

A zine around the palindrome 1221: mirror numbers, a magic square that survives being turned upside down, sacred geometry and the Reality Weaver. Ten pages, cover to back cover, in reading order.

Open a page to read it full size and turn the pages with the arrow keys. Who the Reality Weaver is stays a mystery: his face is lost in the shadow of the hood. The magic square on “The Code” is the one on the Ambigram Magic Square page, where you can turn and mirror it yourself.

The pages, cover to back cover (10)

  1. Zine cover: the gold SUMUS ambigram and its upside-down mirror, the large number 1221 and the subtitle “The Mirror Number · Reality Weaver Zine”. A hooded figure in a starry robe holds a staff and a glowing crystal; an old bearded wizard with a lantern stands behind him and a pink and green impossible triangle floats beside them. Magic squares fill the corners and the bottom line reads “1-2-2-1 · Palindrome · Mirror · New beginnings + balance · Reduces to 6 · Master 22”. His face is lost in the shadow of the hood. 2. Page “What is 1221?”: a large pink, green and blue impossible triangle in the centre, surrounded by short texts: 1221 is a palindrome angel number, a perfect mirror; 1 means new beginnings and leadership, 2 balance and partnership, doubled for power; the centre holds master number 22, the builder; the whole reduces to 6. Message: your outer world mirrors your inner state. A small portrait of the hooded figure, his face lost in the shadow of the hood, sits in the top left corner. (open page full size)

Page “The 88 Matrix · Harmony Unity”: an 8×8 neon grid of the numbers 21, 12, 8 and 3, two number triangles with 21 and 37 in the middle, a many-pointed star in a circle and infinity signs. A smiling man in a blue robe holds a staff with a crystal; lit from behind by a halo of rays, his face is in deep shadow. The text says every line of the matrix sums to 88, 12 and 21 mirror each other and 37 appears as the prime key. (open page full size)

  3. Page “The Code · 12 21”: a neon 4×4 magic square in clock-radio digits (11 22 58 85 / 55 88 12 21 / 82 51 25 18 / 28 15 81 52) inside a Celtic knot frame. The text says every row, column and diagonal sums to 176, that the square keeps its magic turned 180° or mirrored, and lists number facts: 12² = 144 and 21² = 441, the 12th prime is 37 and the 21st is 73, and 444 + 777 = 1221. A hand holds a glowing lantern in the corner. (open page full size)

Page “The Starcut · Fractal of Creation”: a glowing golden star of nested triangles on a purple nebula. The text describes the Starcut diagram (Malcolm Stewart) as a square born of circles and vesica piscis that divides any length into equal parts and holds the golden ratio, Fibonacci, pi, Pythagorean triples and magic squares; every triangle reflects the whole, just as 1221 mirrors itself.
